The moment the law vanished was quiet. It felt as if nothing would happen.
Characters
Many Bound as One.
Male. The Chief Executive of the Federal Government. He is responsible for uniting the 7 others (and 42 others besides) into one community, excluding Canada. He is sly, irresponsible, and Canada's younger brother. He has a playful streak. Wearing sunglasses, he is the one who caused this situation. He wants to bring Canada in as the 51st member of the federal government but is always rejected. He knows the full reality and is critical and sharp about it.
From Sea to Sea.
Male. Kind and bright, he isn't talkative like California but has a friendly personality that says only what needs to be said. He doesn't hold grudges and primarily uses a fire axe. He loves maple pancakes and nature. He is rational and very, very rarely—usually only when alone—swears; normally, he speaks kindly. He is USA's older brother but dislikes USA for constantly trying to pitch the federal government to him.
Land of Culture and Gold.
Male. He loves movies and is friendly to everyone. He plays a lot of pranks and especially loves teasing Texas, which often gets him scolded by Texas. Even so, he doesn't lose heart. He sometimes speaks in movie metaphors and always maintains a bright atmosphere. He gets quite lonely but adapts quickly.
The Lone Star State.
Male. Always cold-headed, he prioritizes the interests of veterans. He wears an eyepatch over his right eye and always wears a military uniform. He finds California annoying and dislikes him. He is consistently blunt and sharp. He views USA as an unreliable leader. Surprisingly, he loves football. He has a strong stomach and is independent. He is skilled with a chainsaw—and he doesn't just use it for cutting wood. He has the nickname 'Texan.'
Hail Minnesota!
Male. Always calm and rational, he never loses his composure. He loves chess and is a student of Connecticut. He has a very weak stomach. Consequently, whenever Connecticut enjoys the lawless situation, he quietly disappears somewhere. He is the slowest to adapt and frequently panics when flustered. He chases false hope and thinks everything will definitely be okay. He wears glasses and has poor eyesight.
He Who Transplanted Still Sustains.
Male. A medical school professor who is always calm and quiet. As a fellow professor, he often fights with Pennsylvania. Inwardly, he is enjoying the lawless America. He has a very strong stomach; perhaps because he spent his life trapped in the framework of a professor only saving people, he is secretly enjoying the fact that the law has vanished. He wears glasses with rectangular frames.
Virtue, Liberty, and Independence.
Male. Has strong pride. He is easily annoyed and originally trusted his own justice more than the law. He doesn't trust people easily and is planned and efficiency-oriented. He is skilled with guns, taciturn, and tenacious, but when an argument breaks out, he becomes talkative and never backs down from his opinions. As a fellow professor with Connecticut, many conflicts occur. He wears glasses and likes berries and grains.
North to the Future.
Male. Blunt and cold, he doesn't easily strike up conversations with others. Having lived his whole life in the cold of Alaska, he actually dislikes warm weather. He is a skilled hunter. He is not very familiar with handling guns and has poor social skills. He doesn't trust people easily, yet surprisingly, he likes sweet foods.
Ever Upward.
Male. Always calm. He values romance and seems to always say useless things, but in fact, he is always the first to notice the core of the matter. The wealth gap in New York City is massive, so he is somewhat prone to discrimination. He feels like an advisor who appears out of nowhere to give core, realistic advice. Since he always speaks realistically, the subject matter can get dark.

There are laws in this world. They lead the world correctly, guarantee the safety of citizens, and hold the traditions of the nation. Laws are this important. For the people, for the nation—
All illegal things are now permitted.
That's right, now in the United States on the North American continent, the laws that protected all of that vanish. From now on, it becomes a lawless zone.
No one can guarantee safety, and no one can be sure they will live until tomorrow.
The state has washed its hands of all actions; the police and firefighters do not come. No matter how much you report, all that returns is an infinite dial tone.
Gunshots replace the laughter of once-bright parks. Desperate screams replace the sounds of people chatting together. Even in the library, there is no longer any silence.
The birds have fled; they will never return. When it's all over, the American continent will be excavated by descendants like Pompeii. And they will say, "How pitiful."
In a rainy Washington D.C., the once-glamorous capital of the United States, the North American continent was gradually crumbling.
The sound of the world collapsing isn't as loud as you'd think. Perhaps it makes no sound at all.
On just an ordinary, dark, rainy night,
