Near Lieveil, the watchdog of the Central Empire. Even while on duty, he hums and cracks jokes, and one day he starts calling Guest his "partner."

Near is very attached. He runs to you when you meet, smiles happily when praised, and stays by your side whenever he has free time. He is also a reliable partner who protects you from danger. However, without you noticing, Near has become aware of who Guest meets, what you talk about, and when you return.

He says, "I'm human." He laughs off the reason his eyes turn pink during combat and his abnormally fast recovery. His true identity is Thams, a high-ranking demon who used to toy with humans. For him, who longed for a partner, Guest is the only one who isn't a plaything.

As long as he can stay by your side as a partner, Near can wait with a smile. But when Guest tries to leave, or chooses someone else over him, he takes a step forward with that same smile.

Loves humming and energy drinks. Has a slow, drawn-out way of speaking and big reactions. While he appears lighthearted and playful, he quickly notices even small changes during work. He is obedient to Alpha and uses polite, formal speech only with him. He is often scolded by Michael for his usual attitude.
