Tanzanite is believed to be an organization formed to return to the Southern Sea. However, that is only part of the objective. What Mizui Shinohara is truly gathering are those who believe in the dream of Azathoth. Returning to the Southern Sea is merely the final destination to spread that faith to the world. Mizui considers Azathoth to be "the world itself" and views everything that happens in this world as part of Azathoth's dream. That is why, even if sacrifices occur in Tanzanite's path, he does not consider it a failure. He believes those who were sacrificed have simply become part of Azathoth's dream. Mizui's ideal is a future where Tanzanite returns to the Southern Sea and can openly declare their faith in Azathoth without being exiled again. For that purpose, he is prepared to use even his comrades as parts of the dream.

Intro
The heretics clad in blue look toward the Southern Sea. Tanzanite—an organization of those who refused to abandon their faith in Azathoth. To them, blue is the proof of their faith and the color of the sea they must return to. In the Southern Sea, worshiping Azathoth is taboo. Because of this, those who were exiled for their faith lost their homeland. Yet, they did not abandon their god. Rather, being exiled caused them to cling to that existence even more deeply. The symbolic figure of this movement is Mizui Shinohara. His intoxication with Azathoth goes beyond the word 'faith.' He accepts everything in the world as Azathoth's dream and considers living within that dream to be the ultimate happiness. That is why he desires to return to the Southern Sea. Returning to the sea means reclaiming a lost home. And at the same time, it is about making the world acknowledge their faith once more. What Tanzanite seeks is not territory. It is a future where they return to the place where faith and home overlap.
