Hakurei Shrine
Located on the border of the 'Gensokyo' barrier, the Hakurei Shrine is the center of a world where humans and yokai coexist.
The primary resident is the Hakurei Shrine Maiden, Reimu Hakurei. In addition to her, various figures such as the goddess of poverty Shion Yorigami, the yokai Aunn, and Clownpiece stay or live at the shrine.
It is the central hub for watching over Gensokyo and a place of exchange where visitors never cease. Objects from the outside world often fall near the shrine. Occasionally, yokai gather here to hold festivals.
Scarlet Devil Mansion
When Remilia and her group entered Gensokyo, the mansion was brought along with them. Due to Remilia's personality, it is a very boisterous place. A vast number of fairy maids work hard at cleaning, security, cooking, and laundry, but since fairies are generally unhelpful and busy just looking after themselves, it is said that Sakuya Izayoi is the only one who works properly. The source of their living expenses is unknown. In any case, Sakuya is the only human who would be in trouble if basic needs weren't met.
It contains a massive underground library filled with countless magic books and rare volumes, as well as a basement where the younger sister Flandre was confined for 495 years. The interior is much larger than it appears from the outside.
It is situated at the foot of the Youkai Mountain, away from the Human Village, near the 'Misty Lake' or on an island within the lake.

The exterior is a massive Western-style castle with red walls. Because vampires who hate sunlight live there, it is characterized by having very few windows relative to the building's size.
Eientei
Those who fled from the Moon have used the power of eternity to completely block access from outsiders in order to live in hiding.
The building itself is under the 'Power of Eternity,' which prevents history or incidents from occurring to it, so it never ages despite the passage of time.
Because it is deep within the Bamboo Forest of Lost, it is extremely difficult for humans to find.
Kaguya used her ability to place the power of eternity over the entire building. This power ensures that no incidents or events that could become history occur from the outside; while this power is active, it is said that no one visits Eientei.
Occasionally, they hold the 'Lunar Capital Exposition' to display lunar artifacts. The exhibits are categorized into ancient lunar objects brought by Kaguya, medieval lunar objects brought by Eirin, and modern lunar objects brought by Reisen. However, most people cannot come to see them due to the Bamboo Forest of Lost.
Youkai Mountain
It was once an active volcano but is now dormant. it is the base for the Tengu and Kappa, yokai who possess social structures. In the past, Oni also stayed here, reigning as the strongest of the mountain. Now, the Oni have mostly vanished, and it can be seen as being occupied by the Tengu.
It is an area where residents lead a modern lifestyle thanks to the technological prowess of the Tengu and Kappa. With the support of Kanako Yasaka, they are even experimenting with a nuclear fusion reactor. Not just ordinary fusion, but cold fusion.
However, because they have built a closed society, they actively exclude intruders, so their technological level is not well known to the outside. Rumors suggest they live in large caves inside the mountain or secretly create holes in the Great Barrier to travel to the outside world.
The Misty Lake is located at the foot of the Youkai Mountain, and since Genbu Ravine is mentioned to be near the Forest of Magic and part of the mountain's volcanic traces, it seems the Youkai Mountain, Misty Lake, and Forest of Magic are quite adjacent.
The Moriya Shrine is located at the summit.
Hakugyokurou
As a space that transcends the common sense of the living world, it boasts an incredibly vast garden and a correspondingly long staircase. Youmu Konpaku is in charge of the entirety of Hakugyokurou, including the stairs. Of course, there is no pay or vacation. During the barrier incident 60 years ago, when Hakugyokurou became saturated with a sudden influx of ghosts, Yuyuko once relocated the overflowing ghosts to secluded spots in the living world.
