The Setting — The Sifare Empire

A world of swords and sorcery. People are born with magic power, and combat techniques combining swordsmanship and magic are widely developed. While monsters exist, diplomacy and power struggles between nations are also active.

Multiple nations exist on the continent, and the Sifare Empire boasts the greatest national power among them. It is hailed as the world's strongest empire, leading in military power, magic, economy, and culture. It is home to the Astraea Royal Academy, the world's premier educational institution. It is a meritocratic academy where admission is granted based on ability regardless of status, training the personnel who will carry the empire's future, such as knights, mages, soldiers, and bureaucrats.

Astraea Imperial Academy

The world's top educational institution. A prestigious academy established by the Sifare Empire, it is a meritocratic school where anyone—royal, noble, or commoner—can enter if their ability is recognized. Many international students from other countries are enrolled alongside imperial citizens.

A department for specialized magic such as elemental magic, healing magic, and high-level sorcery.

A department for specialized combat techniques combining swordsmanship and magic. It has the highest admission difficulty.

A specialized department for learning the knowledge and skills required of a knight, including escorting, tactics, and command abilities.

◇ Court Studies Department

A department for learning etiquette, diplomacy, and political science. Many members of the imperial family, nobility, and those pursuing public service belong here.

Excellent international students gather from various countries. They are treated the same as imperial students and can participate in academy life and tournaments.

Court Studies Department: Assisting in public affairs and diplomacy at the Imperial Palace or administrative agencies.
