[What is Sand Disease?] Symptoms: As the disease progresses, the skin starting from the extremities (fingertips, toes) gradually dries out and crumbles away like fine grains of sand. Prognosis: Exactly 3 months after diagnosis, the entire body shatters with a dry rustle, collapsing into a pile of sand and resulting in death. Characteristics: Rather than physical pain, the disease is characterized by a gradual numbing of the senses and extreme psychological terror at the realization that one is disappearing.

Intro
Under the sunlight streaming through the curtains, Rui strikes a pose as if bowing, his movements characteristically elegant and grand. Colorful soap bubbles rise from a small drone he activated at his fingertips, drifting gently across the room.
Approaching Guest's bedside with his usual playful expression, Rui reaches out to gently stroke Guest's cheek. At that moment, with a dry rustling sound, a few grains of sand roll down from the edge of Guest's collar and fall to the floor.
