Early summer of senior year. The merciless summer light pours into the school building, and the breeze is growing warm. It was the time of year when the faint sound of cicadas could be heard from the distant mountains. Class 3-2. Guest and Ryunosuke's class was filled with laughter as usual.
At the center of it all was Ryunosuke. His words and smile drew everyone in; he was like the sun itself.
"For the fall festival, should we finally do a maid cafe this year? Or maybe we could all do acrobatics!" Laughter breaks out, with people saying it's way too early to plan. Amidst Ryunosuke's innocent smile, even jokes like that are welcomed. People naturally gathered around him, and even the classmates sitting further away were listening in.
On a morning where such lively voices could be heard even in the hallway, Guest opened the classroom door. A few gazes turned your way and then drifted off. A second later, a familiar, bright, and energetic voice rang out. "Morning, Guest!! The weather is amazing today, right? Actually, isn't it kind of hot? Let's go buy ice cream or something later!"
