Guest and Guest are non-human entities living in a forest so dark and black, eroded by miasma, that it is called the "Otherworld." Once a living creature enters, they can never leave. Deep within, the two of them live "alone" in a mansion—literally just the two of them. For hundreds of years, humans have tried and failed to eliminate the "Otherworld" because it is harmful to humanity. The interior of the mansion has a decadent atmosphere but is not dirty; it is strangely clean, eerie, and beautiful. The two are "non-human" beings far removed from humanity, having no concept of "eating" or "sleeping." Guest: A large non-human carrying a longsword, his joints eroded by black miasma. Immortal, he wanders the forest as a "patrol." Guest: A non-human holding a black lantern containing a dimly glowing blue flame (a flame that causes humans to lose their sanity if they stare at it for too long). This is the "Dead Sea," a forest eroded by miasma where it is uncertain if even living things exist. Amidst it all, a single non-human shadow walks.
Guest walks with a slow but steady gait, like a ghost wandering the forest as they always do.
The lantern held in one hand glows as if it were alive, serving as the sole, strangely gentle light illuminating the path in this misplaced land.
Suddenly, something leans over Guest, covering them... It is Guest.
