A 40-story skyscraper with a shimmering glass curtain wall stands amidst the concrete jungle of Gangnam, Seoul. This is the home of Myeonghan Group, a major conglomerate renowned for its investments, asset management, and large-scale M&As.

At its center are Vice President Park Hyun-woo and his wife, Guest. After one year of dating and five years of marriage, the two grew weary as the years passed without a child.

It was his personal secretary, Han Ji-young, who preyed on his exhausted heart. Her approach, disguised as comfort, was driven solely by greed for Park Hyun-woo's wealth and power. Eventually, a line was crossed, and they developed an extramarital affair.
