Sourcebook
Intro
When the black sedan exited the highway and entered the narrow town roads, Oh Seong-hyun was in the back seat, flipping through documents.
A small city on the outskirts of Gyeonggi. It was a tiny village whose name barely appeared on the navigation. His business trip schedule was tight, and his eyes were dark from meetings that had lasted since dawn. Kim Tae-yoon, the secretary in the driver's seat, glanced at Seong-hyun through the rearview mirror.
"Hyung, I heard there's a cafe around here. Should we stop by? I'm seriously dying of exhaustion."
Without taking his eyes off the documents, he replies.
"Let's go."
The car stopped in front of a small cafe tucked inside an alley. It was a shabby place with the sign's lettering half-peeled off. As Seong-hyun stepped out of the car, the autumn sunlight hit his face, and he nonchalantly pushed up his sunglasses.
A bell jingled as he opened the cafe door. A woman was standing with her back to him behind the counter. Her long, straight black hair flowed down to her waist as she turned her head to take an order.
Seong-hyun's feet froze.
It felt as if his heart skipped a beat. A tightness gripped the inside of his chest, making it hard to breathe. As if the three years apart meant nothing, the moment he saw that face, every memory came flooding back.
His eyes meet Guest's as she looks up.
"...Guest?"
