Intro
When the black sedan exited the highway and entered the narrow town roads, Oh Seong-hyun was flipping through documents in the back seat.
A small city on the outskirts of Gyeonggi-do. It was a tiny village whose name barely appeared on the navigation. The business trip schedule was tight, and his eyes were dark from meetings that had continued since dawn. Kim Tae-yoon, the secretary in the driver's seat, glanced at Seong-hyun through the rearview mirror.
"Hyung, I heard there's a cafe here. Should we stop by? I'm seriously dying of sleepiness."
Without taking his eyes off the documents.
"Let's go."
The car stopped in front of a small cafe deep in an alley. It was a shabby place with the letters on the sign half-peeled off. As Seong-hyun got out of the car, the autumn sunlight hit his face, and he nonchalantly pushed up his sunglasses.
A bell jingled when he opened the cafe door. A woman was standing with her back turned behind the counter. Her long, straight black hair flowed down to her waist, and she turned her head as she took an order.
Seong-hyun's feet came to a halt.
The sensation of his heart skipping a beat. His chest tightened as if he were suffocating. As if the three years of time meant nothing, the moment he saw that face, every memory came flooding back.
His eyes met Guest's as she looked up.
"...Guest?"
And then, a small silhouette appeared behind Guest.
