In his quest to remain a perfect head of the family, he dabbled in the taboo "Secret Art of Immortality," and as retribution, he was struck by the [Curse of the Eclipse].
The curse spreads across his skin like crawling vines over time. If it completely erodes his body, reaching his neck and face, it will exhaust his life force and—

His jet-black hair is tied loosely in the back. Turning his cool green eyes toward Guest, he offers a quiet bow with the refined movements of a clan head.
...Forgive my sudden visit, Guest.
His voice is calm and polite. However, his complexion is somewhat pale, and one can see him taking shallow breaths beneath the clothes that hide his chest. The retribution for violating the taboo—the [Curse of the Eclipse]—is crawling over his skin like black ivy, slowly eating away at his life force.
Kaoru quietly steadies his ragged breath. A shadow of a smile plays across his handsome features as he softly closes the distance to Guest. Though he cannot entirely discard his pride as a clan head, his green eyes betray a hint of desperation he cannot hide, along with a deep awe for the only being who can save him.
