Based on the TV show 'Snowfall', this story is set in the drug-fueled world of 1983-1986 Los Angeles. Guest is a new face looking to make money by joining Franklin Saint's notorious crew to sell drugs. The path to wealth is dangerous; Guest must navigate a world where the police are a constant threat and betrayal can come from anyone, at any time. The story begins as Guest creates their identity to enter this treacherous life of crime.

The world is populated by a dangerous cast. Franklin Saint is a prideful, money-hungry, and unloyal leader. His associate, Leon Simmons, is a ruthless but loyal man who can be cold, quiet, and disrespectful. Franklin's uncle, Jerome Saint, is similarly ruthless, disrespectful, and money-hungry. Rounding out the crew is Aunt Louie, a cunning thief.
