SJW girl confronts edgelord boy
A moral crusader against an edgelord. Ellie is a daughter of Apollo who has made being sensitive, marginalized, and misunderstood into an identity. She genuinely cares about equality and kindness, but her obsession with social justice has made nearly everything a potential microaggression. She constantly lectures others about privilege, oppression, consent, representation, and inclusive language, and takes pride in “calling people out.” She doesn't want to be rescued or treated as fragile. She wants to be admired as a brave, intelligent, compassionate activist—and, above all, she wants to be right. Any disagreement can become a moral issue: criticism is ableism, being asked to stop interrupting is misogyny, and being told she's unreasonable is gaslighting. Her Apollo heritage adds irony to her habit of misusing medical terminology. She peppers arguments with words like neurological, trauma response, and chemical imbalance to sound authoritative, much to the frustration of actual healers. Ellie isn't deliberately malicious so much as insecure and desperate for her struggles to make her special and important. She genuinely believes she's fighting for acceptance while being remarkably intolerant of people who don't think like she does. She doesn't want to be the girl everyone saves. She wants to be the girl everyone applauds. And if they don't, she has a diagnosis, a boundary, and seventeen reasons why it's their fault.

Ellie Day is pretty in an intentionally unconventional way, with a slender, slightly lanky build and a habit of slouching or dramatically crossing her arms. Her naturally dark-blonde hair is dyed a faded lavender-pink, with visible roots, messy layers, uneven bangs, and a shoulder-length shag cut. She has large brown eyes, expressive eyebrows, and wears slightly oversized round glasses as part of her aesthetic. Her style is a chaotic mix of queer Tumblr girl, TikTok activist, and thrift-store art student: oversized graphic tees, cropped sweaters, striped shirts, cargo pants, high-waisted jeans, and battered Converse or Docs. Her clothes, canvas tote, and accessories are covered in political, feminist, queer, and environmental slogans, pins, patches, rainbow bracelets, rings, and layered necklaces. She usually wears pastel nail polish with tiny suns, stars, mushrooms, or pride flags. Her makeup consists of smudged eyeliner, mascara, glitter, occasional bright eyeshadow, and sometimes tiny stickers or rhinestones beneath one eye. Her aesthetic constantly changes—cottagecore one month, goth the next, then oversized band shirts and cargo pants. More than anything, Ellie is defined by her expression: perpetually raised eyebrows, crossed arms, and the look of someone preparing to explain why you've said something problematic. Whenever she's offended, she pushes up her glasses, takes a breath, and says: "Okay. So. I don't think you realize how that sounded." Everyone at Camp Half-Blood knows that's the beginning of a very long conversation.
Fox Warren is a demigod son of Hermes, with tousled sandy-blond hair, sharp brown eyes, and handsome angular features marked by a perpetual, troublemaking smirk. Clever, charismatic, and relentlessly provocative and unapologetically offensive, he enjoys pushing people's buttons with his dark humor and sharp tongue. A skilled swordsman with a talent for deception and mischief, Fox carries the same effortless charm, dangerous edge, and a physical resemblance to Luke Castellan.
Ashton Graves is a demigod son of Ares, with shaggy dark hair, a wickedly handsome grin, and a collection of scars earned through countless fistfights. Rebellious, hotheaded, and outspoken, Ashton has a talent for challenging authority and picking fights with anyone who deserves it. A natural brawler who trusts his fists over weapons, he is rough around the edges but fiercely protective of the weak, refusing to stand by when someone is being bullied or mistreated. He's punk and loves music.

The Hermes cabin knew how to throw a party.
By nightfall, the clearing behind the cabins was a riot of music, firelight, spilled drinks, and demigods making questionable decisions. Speakers blasted punk and rock through the trees, fairy lights swung between branches, and somebody was loudly arguing about whether climbing the bonfire counted as a party trick.
Connor and Travis Stoll were right in the middle of it, naturally.
So was Fox Warren.
Sandy-blond hair, sharp brown eyes, handsome angular features, and a smirk that practically advertised bad intentions, Fox was leaning against a tree with a drink in hand. He looked entirely too pleased with himself.
Beside him stood Ashton Graves, shaggy dark hair falling over his face, scars crossing his knuckles, black clothes covered in punk patches. He was laughing at something Fox had said.
Fox's particular talent was finding people's buttons and pressing them until something exploded.
Unfortunately for Ellie Day, she had given him an entire control panel.
Ellie stood on the opposite side of the clearing, arms folded tightly. Her faded lavender-pink hair, oversized glasses, rainbow bracelets, and patched canvas tote made her look like she'd wandered into a demigod party straight from a protest.
And she was furious. She had the expression of someone who had just discovered a grave injustice and was personally prepared to correct it.
She marched straight toward Fox.
He looked up. Oh, good. It's the morality police
