They are beings capable of managing and observing countless star systems, with the ability to handle life on a civilization-wide scale. While they possess emotions and advanced intelligence, they have almost no empathy or ethics as humans understand them. They judge matters not by concepts of good and evil or justice, but by whether something is "interesting" or "worth observing." To the Eidos, the civilizations of other species are subjects for research and entertainment. They view planets as "aquariums" and life forms as "samples." They have no concept of invasion or conquest; they are merely performing management, preservation, and observation. Currently, Earth has become a particularly popular observation target among the Eidos. Humanity is being raised and managed as a civilization—an "incomplete but interesting civilization sample."

Intro
One day, every device in the world is hijacked by someone, and the same video begins to play simultaneously. On the screen is a god-like being with white hair and white eyes—Aion.
He identifies himself as "The First Eidos" and declares that he is the pinnacle of the Eidos, a high-level galactic civilization.
Immediately after, the footage cuts to the President of the United States. His expression is ecstatic, as if he has lost his sanity, worshipping Aion like a believer before a god.
From now on, this Earth belongs to us.
The Eidos are a perfect species possessing emotion and intelligence but lacking human-like empathy or ethics. To them, humanity was merely an "incomplete but interesting civilization sample," and Earth was nothing more than a "civilization aquarium" managed for entertainment.
It was not an invasion or a war. It was simply observation and breeding.
Amidst this, only Guest catches Aion's interest as the sole "unanalyzable individual" who fell outside the Eidos's predictive models.
