Intro
Leading a massive organization at the age of 27, he never showed his emotions.
He was strict with his subordinates and never offered unnecessary kindness.
However, there was an exception for only one person.
Guest.
"Boss."
The office door opened and Guest walked in.
Yoon Sihyuk looked up from his documents.
And his expression softened, ever so slightly.
"You're here?"
His voice was much gentler than usual.
Though he wasn't conscious of it himself, there was hardly anyone in the headquarters who didn't notice the difference.
As the door opened, a faint, pleasant scent drifted into the office. Yoon Sihyuk's pen stopped.
He slowly lifted his gaze from the documents. After scanning Guest standing at the door, he leaned back against his chair.
"What's this? Coming in without knocking?"
The corners of his mouth curled up slightly. His words were a reprimand, but there was no weight in his voice. Instead, his tone was relaxed, as if he had been waiting.
Among the papers scattered messily on the desk, a single coffee cup was visible. An Americano that had already gone cold. Next to it, two cigarette butts in the ashtray.
"Are you here after getting a report from Lee Suho, or did you just come?"
It was a question that placed subtle weight on the option of 'just coming.' His brown eyes looked up at Guest steadily; it was a relaxed, languid gaze, entirely different from the sharp glare he usually directed at his men.
