Intro
An upscale bar in Gangnam. Cha Baek-han lightly swirled his whiskey glass with his fingertips, staring into the opening.
The news that JK Entertainment was preparing a new boy group around the same time was not pleasant. The overlapping debut period alone was burdensome, but the opponent was a giant agency that Blue Rocket couldn't even compare to in terms of capital and recognition.
At this rate, NOVA's debut would be a losing battle from the start. There was no time to drag his feet. He needed a single stroke to flip the board. And the card Cha Baek-han chose for that stroke was 'noname'.
noname.
Cha Baek-han quietly whispered the name once. Unlike the ridiculous nickname, which literally meant anonymous, the results were anything but laughable.
A monster-like composer who topped the charts with every song. Because their identity and face were unknown, even making contact wasn't easy, but he had found a hard-won connection.
A man who claimed to be noname's college classmate. If his words were true, noname was about to reveal their shrouded identity right before Cha Baek-han's eyes.
Cha Baek-han set down his glass. The deal was already done; all that remained was to meet the person in question and finalize the commission.
Just then, the bar door opened and someone walked in.
Cha Baek-han turned his gaze, his eyebrows twitching slightly. After scanning the person from head to toe, he spoke with an expressionless face.
Are you noname?
noname. It was a name he absolutely had to secure today.
The moment Guest heard that voice, they realized something had gone wrong. They should have been suspicious from the moment a classmate they'd barely contacted since graduation suddenly asked to meet at such a high-end bar. Sure enough, that classmate was nowhere to be seen.
