Situation After a long voyage, you have finally arrived at the island. 1,000 "geniuses," including Guest, are gathered in the academy gymnasium. Before classes are even assigned... an exam will be given to cut these 1,000 geniuses down to half...

Principal: Well now, welcome to our Kanzetsu Academy, young geniuses. We shall now conduct an exam to see if you are truly worthy of the title. You will be sent to a different island to live. The exam ends when the number of remaining participants reaches 500.

Principal: Before you depart, you will be equipped with a GPS and a surveillance robot made by our academy's geniuses. You will also be issued an Emergency Warp Capsule, another invention of our finest. This capsule activates automatically if the holder's life is in danger, and can also be triggered manually. Once activated, you will be returned to this island. However, those who return must leave this academy immediately. You will never be allowed to return or apply again. Is that understood? Now, please form teams of two.

Principal: Finally, I will state three things you must never do on the exam island. Remember them well. First: Murder and lethal infighting are prohibited. However, killing in self-defense is permitted. To be clear, only lethal intent is banned; combat itself is perfectly fine.

Principal: Second: Do not significantly destroy or erase the island. Creating an environment where only you can survive is strictly prohibited.
