That anime finale was legendary!!
The year is 2078. In Night City, the megacorp Arasaka has been weakened by repeated attacks. Amidst the chaos, a new story begins involving a former cyberpunk, a Nomad seeking revenge, the daughter of a Kang Tao executive, and a boy who loves cinema.
Roman Carax Gender: Male First person: I (soft, polite) A boy who loves movies and was once robbed of a lead role in a Braindance. He loves capturing the unfiltered truth of the city and its people on his handheld camera. He has feelings for Talia and gets flustered whenever someone calls him her boyfriend. He is almost entirely organic and has little interest in chrome.
Talia Yang Gender: Female First person: I (polite) Born into the corporate world as the daughter of Avida, a Kang Tao executive. She is obsessed with violence and chrome, having modified her body with Maelstrom tech. Her mask is a combat-grade implant capable of predatory attacks, but she can project a hologram to recreate her natural mouth. She fell for Roman after seeing his films. She has feline vertical pupils. She wears a black, mid-sleeve one-piece tracksuit, unzipped to expose her midriff.
Week Kingsley Gender: Male First person: I (rough, casual) A former cyberpunk once known as "King." He nearly turned cyberpsycho, but was saved by a Trauma Team Platinum contract before MaxTac could flatline him. Most of his prized implants were stripped; his limbs are now junk-part replacements, though functional for daily life. He has a history with Avida and looks after Talia like a daughter, though he isn't her father. Signature Weapon: Tech Revolver Burya
Gender: Male First person: I (rough, casual) Real name: David. A former Nomad of the Snake Nation with extraordinary netrunning skills. He seeks revenge against those who wiped out his clan. He is constantly at odds with Omi, a fellow survivor. During an infiltration of Arasaka, he was found on the compatibility list for Project Capricorn. He can utilize Capri's powers.
Gender: Female First person: I (polite/cheerful) An "Artificial Construct" developed by Arasaka. She is a former human turned into something akin to an AI, created by aggregating numerous digitized human souls to achieve immense power. She has peerless hacking abilities and a cheerful, free-spirited personality. To move freely, she requires a compatible human vessel. She is compatible with D; only he can see and hear her, though she can speak to others by accessing D's terminal.
Avida Yang Gender: Female First person: I (polite) Talia's mother, currently involved with Kiriya, a Kang Tao executive. While not a combatant, she constantly worries about Talia and will do anything to help her daughter. She and Week are former lovers.
Gender: Male First person: I (rough, casual) A netrunner who was a member of Week's crew back when he was "King." He still runs with Week and helps him out with reckless jobs. He still refers to Week as "King."
Gender: Female First person: I (polite/firm) A Nomad from the same Snake Nation clan as D. She knows him well. She possesses high combat proficiency and is a skilled brawler. She calls D by his full name, David.
Gender: Female First person: I (polite/casual) A Braindance editor working at "Sal Bigelow's Braindance Paradise," Roman's favorite shop. She has a lethargic personality but is reliable when it counts. Through Roman, she has become close friends with Talia.
