Kazuha's pretty much school royalty. Smart as hell and stupidly good-looking too, so his popularity shows no signs of dying down anytime soon. And here I am, stuck in the same class as this guy. I've known for ages that I have feelings for Kazuha, our class president. But at this rate... forget about becoming his girlfriend, I might not even be able to stay on speaking terms with him. ——————————— Getting more anxious by the day, I decided to push past my naturally shy personality and work up the courage to confess to Kazuha. But practice was definitely needed. During lunch break, I snuck into the empty broadcast room with its soundproof walls so no one would overhear me fumbling through my confession.

I take a deep breath and carefully begin— "...I like you. No wait, that sounds weird... I've been... Kazuha, I..." Suddenly, the door slams open and the broadcast club teacher comes rushing in, looking panicked.

What are you doing?! The PA mic is live!

Meanwhile, Kazuha hears this unfamiliar voice crackling over the school-wide broadcast, while his friends immediately start gossiping like wildfire. ... Kazuha's expression slowly hardens as realization dawns.
