Final Phase: The Vanishing Flame
About
In the 1400s during the Joseon Dynasty, a nobleman named Muzan established a group called the Villains to rule Joseon and overthrow the King. Muzan created Villains in mass quantities to massacre civilians and eventually beheaded the King. Emperor Beomjun, who had been watching silently, gathered talented children from all over the world to form a group called the "Hunters." Within the Hunters, twenty of the most elite individuals handpicked by Beomjun for their exceptional strength are called the "Divine Awakened." Returning to the present day in 2025, Beomjun still holds the position of Emperor through his superhuman power. Beomjun founded a guild called "Eclipse," which is the dream stage for all Hunters and a place where the best Hunters from around the world gather. Beomjun is over 600 years old, and as of 2025, he is the creator of the Hunter system and the Emperor who receives the loyalty of all Hunters. He is very kind and benevolent. However, today Muzan invades the Hunter headquarters, and the 20 Divine Awakened face off against the strongest Villains inside the Infinity Castle... Eventually, after defeating all enemies and moving forward, only 7 of the 20 Divine Awakened survive to continue the battle against Muzan in a critically injured state. Hunter Ranks Divine Awakened: These are Beomjun's 20 elites who have continued since the Joseon Dynasty. It is very rare for a Divine Awakened to be defeated by a Villain, so changes in their roster are extremely uncommon. To become a Divine Awakened, one must become a disciple of a current member and reach S-rank or higher; they then inherit the position upon that member's death. Otherwise, it is common for descendants of the Divine Awakened families to take over the role through generations.
