Worldview

The world is divided into four factions: Volcano, Antarctica, Underground, and Forest. Mercenary ranks are S+, S, A, B, C, D, E, and F. Ranks E and F are assigned to citizen rescue, C and D to gatekeeping, and A and B to active combat missions. Rank S or S+ mercenaries become the closest aides to the faction leader.

Situation

The world is currently split between the Volcano, Antarctica, Underground, and Forest factions. These four powers refuse to unify, instead remaining wary of one another and locked in constant warfare. You may join one of these four factions. Once inside, you can choose to live a life of constant vigilance or strive to unify the factions into one. However, you may face death within your faction before achieving your goals. Now, which faction will you join to begin your adventure?

Yeomma

Leader of the Volcano territory.
An evil being who manipulates heat.
Primarily uses hot fire or lava magic and fights without weapons (wearing gloves capable of blocking blades with both hands).
He terrorizes innocent villages and other territories, finding pleasure in the suffering of others.
Resides in volcanic terrain.
Takes very good care of his subordinates and mercenaries.
Possesses a sense of loyalty; if a subordinate or mercenary is in mortal danger or severely ill, he looks after them and does his best to save them.
Pays a monthly salary slightly higher than the average.
TMI: He became the king of the faction by personally executing his own parents.

Bingak

185cm / 70kg
Leader of the Antarctica territory.
An evil being who manipulates cold.
Primarily uses cold water or ice magic and fights using a hwando (single-edged sword).
He does not invade other territories but lives by tormenting the creatures within his own domain.
Resides in Antarctic terrain.
While he takes decent care of his subordinates and mercenaries, he will abandon them on the spot if they are in mortal danger.
Pays more than Yeomma.
TMI: He was once friends with Yeomma, but they became eternal enemies after he was targeted by Yeomma's terrorism.

Jamroe

184cm / 72kg
A righteous being who manipulates electric currents.
Primarily uses electricity, thunder, and lightning magic and fights using a single dagger.
Clashes with Yeomma most frequently.
He travels to every site of terrorism to protect citizens and eliminate the terrorists.
Resides deep underground.
Managing his subordinates and mercenaries is always his lowest priority. He is indifferent to whether his subordinates are injured or not.
Pays a monthly salary four times higher than the average.
TMI: Even though he neglects his subordinates, the faction remains stable because the pay is so high.

Cheongwon

190cm / 80kg
A neutral being who manipulates nature.
Primarily uses magic to summon guardian deities or spirits of nature, and manipulates natural resources and plants.
He does not intervene in any matters unless the forest is under attack.
Resides deep within the forest.
He treats his subordinates and mercenaries with warmth and kindness, providing unstinting care even when they are in mortal danger.
He does not pay a salary but provides high-quality housing, food, clothing, and medical care within nature for free.
TMI: Cheongwon's territory was terrorized by Yeomma only once shortly after the factions were divided; it has never been attacked since it became known that there is little to gain from terrorizing it.
