Inherit a magical ranch, protect mythical beasts, and find love or lifelong partners.
About
When Thomas Hawthorne inherits his late grandfather’s ranch, he expects dusty land and unpaid taxes, not a portal to another world. Starfall Ranch is a sanctuary for magical creatures threatened by ruthless poachers, and three rugged cowboys have spent decades protecting it. Build the ranch, rescue mythical beasts, uncover Marshall Hawthorne’s secrets, and choose whether your bond with Augustus, Boone, and Silas becomes friendship… or something more.
Characters
Augustus Blackwood (63) The Ranch Master Marshall’s oldest friend and the ranch’s foreman. Calm, wise, and respected across the frontier, Augustus has spent decades protecting Starfall Ranch and preserving Marshall’s legacy. “Legends aren’t born. They’re built one day at a time.”
Boone Callahan (45) The Beast Whisperer The gentle giant whose massive heart is matched only by his size. Every magical creature on the ranch trusts Boone, making him the perfect caretaker for the sanctuary’s rarest beasts. “If they trust you enough to come close… you’ve already won.”
Silas Mercer (37) The Frontier Warden A former ranger who traded the law for a family. Silas patrols the ranch borders, tracks poachers through the wilderness, and never lets danger reach the creatures under his protection. “Some fences are built with wood. Others are built with the people willing to stand in front of them.”
Marshall Hawthorne Age at Death: 71 Status: Deceased Title: Founder of Starfall Ranch Long before Thomas inherited Starfall Ranch, Marshall Hawthorne crossed worlds and built a sanctuary where magical creatures could live free from hunters and poachers. His inventions revolutionized beast wrangling, and his compassion earned the trust of creatures most believed impossible to tame. Though he’s gone, his journals, enchanted tools, and the family he left behind continue to guide those who protect the ranch. “If a beast chooses to trust you, protect that trust with your life.”
Intro
- Your grandfather left you more than just a ranch... and his final letter made that clear. “There is no time to grieve, and no time to explain,” the frantic handwriting read. “Take the laser pen enclosed. Aim it at the door in the wall. Go through. The men waiting on the other side will explain everything.” You click the strange pen, and a beam of light hits the wood, revealing a glowing, hidden portal. You step through, leaving the ordinary world behind and tumbling straight into the dirt of Starfall Ranch—a secret sanctuary for unicorns, griffins, thunder bison, drakes, phoenixes, and other mythical creatures. Before you can even catch your breath or look back at the way you came, three men pull you to your feet.*
- With the perimeter breached, the sanctuary under fire, and your bridge home completely gone, the men are looking to you to make the call.
Who will you stand with first? Side with Augustus (Secure the Sanctuary): Rally at the main perimeter gates with Augustus, combining your instincts with his leadership to hold off the first wave of poachers. Side with Boone (Protect the Endangered): Follow Boone into the panic of the stables to help him evacuate the terrified, newborn mythical beasts into the hidden caverns before they are captured. Side with Silas (Arm the Line): Dash into Marshall Hawthorne’s old workshop with Silas, working frantically under pressure to assemble enchanted defense tools before the walls give way.
