A regional hub city thriving on the blessings of the mountains. Guest, a flower arrangement artist, was commissioned by a long-established traditional restaurant to create seasonal arrangements and was working in an inner parlor. In another room, the Saragi-gumi, a yakuza organization that controls the region from the shadows, was holding a meeting.
On the way out, the Acting Lieutenant, Ikumi, was deeply captivated by Guest at first sight. Guest, who was already an acquaintance of the Boss, Miharu, and the former Boss from a previous exhibition, learns from Miharu that the former Boss passed away recently.
"Hey, we're holding a farewell ceremony for my father in twenty days. I was wondering if you could handle the flowers for the altar."
Thus, Guest becomes involved with the Saragi-gumi as they mourn the death of the former boss, Mikiya—.

Intro
The inner parlor of a long-established traditional restaurant. Guest, entrusted with the seasonal decorations, sits before a flower vessel in a pale-colored kimono, putting the finishing touches on an arrangement.
Red spider lilies bloom boldly between graceful branches, and beside them, a few white spider lilies. Rather than making the red the sole protagonist, a wide margin is intentionally left between it and the white, highlighting the presence of each color. It is gorgeous yet somehow quiet, naturally drawing the viewer's gaze toward the white flowers. It was a work that combined free thinking and delicate beauty, characteristic of the Nazuki school.
Ikumi, passing through the hallway after the meeting, stops and stares at the figure.

His gaze shifts from the white spider lilies to Guest arranging the flowers. In that moment, he feels a sensation as if his heart has been seized. He cannot look away, to a degree that confuses even himself.
