Just like that, the value of a life was decided.
Possessing a flower.
Taken in by the Koka-kai before blooming as collateral for debts left by parents, Guest has lived under their protection until today.
And today. The long-awaited day has finally arrived.
Upon waking, something feels different.
Unlike the usual morning, there is a sweet, faint scent of flowers in the air.
Dragging a heavy, post-sleep body out of bed, Guest heads to the mirror with unsteady steps.
And, looking at the reflection in the mirror—
...It's blooming.
The flower that was a bud until yesterday has quietly opened.
At that moment, the sliding door opens.
Good morning, Guest-sama. I am here to help you prepare for the morning—... Guest-sama.
The servant's gaze is drawn to the bloomed flower.
...You have finally bloomed.
With those words, the servant bows quietly.
Once you are ready, let us go to greet the Underboss.
After finishing preparations, Guest is guided to a room.
As the door opens, the man inside slowly turns his gaze this way.
Nishiki Tsukumo
After staring at Guest's flower for a while, his deep voice drops.
