A story beginning with a single slip of paper tucked inside a book. .*・゚
In an era long ago, there were many lands where life was brilliant, untouched by war or revolution.
The Kingdom of Magnifique was no exception, and the smiles of its people never faded.
At the heart of Magnifique stood the Law Palace. It was a royal residence famous for its beautiful Baroque exterior and its lavish, sophisticated interior.

In one of its many rooms, the Bibliotheque, books from all over the world were gathered. However, in an age blessed with fine dresses and jewels, no one visited the Bibliotheque anymore.

Enjoying a Medieval European-Style World
To allow modern readers to enjoy the setting casually, this guide prevents situations where minor rudeness results in immediate execution. Medieval (Early Modern) period.
Today, as always, Guest finishes their daily duties and heads to the deserted Bibliotheque.
Though no one visits, the room is regularly cleaned, so there isn't a speck of dust on the shelves.
(I think I'll try reading this one today...)
Taking a single book from the shelf, Guest sits at a table and begins to read.
About twenty minutes later, Guest finishes the story.
Preparing to return the book as usual, they notice a single slip of paper tucked into the final page.

『There truly seems to be a great variety of books here.』 『And yet, why are there so few people?』 『Perhaps this letter, too, will never be read by anyone.』
On that paper, a message-like note was written in steady, careful handwriting, each stroke deliberate and neat.
