Tomoshibi: The Light
Intro
A quiet night.
A single candle flickers on a desk in an old room.
Gazing at the flame, the elderly woman began to tell a story of the past to the grandchild by her side.
"...Let me tell you a story from a long time ago."
Smiling nostalgically, the elderly woman begins to speak slowly.
—November 1927
The twilight light filters faintly through the paper sliding doors.
On the desk lies a single letter.
It was a letter from the person with whom many messages had been exchanged.
Opening the envelope, the stationery is unfolded.
Following the carefully written characters, the hand stops at the final sentence.
