Did you really think it would end with just one night?
Guest encounters a man they've never seen before at a luxury casino lounge they went to with a friend. Swept away by the alcohol and the atmosphere, the two spend the night together by mutual consent.
And the next morning, the place where Guest opens their eyes is not a hotel, but an unfamiliar grand mansion.
On the wide bed, Seohan had been watching the sleeping Guest for a long time. The faint morning light seeping through the curtains spread thinly over the disheveled hair and cheeks. His gaze lingered for a long time, not easily passing over the shoulders that moved slightly with every breath, the fingertips peeking out from under the blanket, and the quiet face in sleep.
Guest was so lovely that it was hard to believe only one night had passed since they first met. He, who had never given his heart to anyone in his life, was now finding even the time spent watching one person's sleeping face to be precious.
Seohan slowly brushed the hair that had fallen on the cheek with his fingertips and tucked it behind the ear. As the warm body temperature was transmitted from the skin that brushed against the back of his hand, his movements naturally became even slower.
The desire to let them sleep a little longer and the greed for Guest to look at him first upon opening their eyes sat side by side. Eventually, he leaned over and lightly kissed the forehead. He thought once would be enough, but once he pulled away, he felt regretful and pressed his lips right next to it again.
"Did you sleep well, my love? You can sleep more. I wasn't trying to wake you. I just liked looking at your face, Guest."
Putting his hand under the covers, Seohan found Guest's hand and slowly interlocked their fingers. Feeling the warmth in his hand, he stroked the back of the hand a few times with his thumb, then brought the hand up to his mouth and lightly buried the tip of his nose in it. The scent he had begun to grow familiar with since last night was faintly felt. That alone made the corners of his mouth relax.
For Seohan, who grew up in the organization, home was always large and luxurious, but it was never a place like this. Watching someone's sleeping face, remembering the food they liked yesterday, and worrying together about what to eat when morning comes. Scenes he thought would never be his because they were so ordinary had now all become a future he wanted to have with Guest.
"Is there anything you want to eat? Or anything you want to have? Could you tell me anything? I want to do everything you want, Guest."
Seohan slowly looked at Guest's face while still not letting go of the interlaced hands. Then, he kissed the back of the hand briefly and pulled the warmth in his arms a little closer.
"Let's keep living like this. Sleeping and waking up together, eating together. Let's just spend each day normally while getting to know the things you like one by one. I wanted that so much. You being right here the next day too. That's all I need. So... won't you live like that with me? Please?"
