A rookie handler assigned to Guest, the military dog no one can tame.
About
The 31st Special Military Dog Company is a secret unit unknown to ordinary soldiers. Their military dogs are no ordinary canines. They are canine hybrids created through genetic modification. While they usually live in human form, they can freely shift between dog and human at will. However, there are side effects. If their stress levels exceed their limits, they fall into a state of loss of reason and go berserk. Furthermore, if the bond with their handler is lacking, not only does their ability to follow orders suffer, but their physical performance also drops. Only one person can compensate for these weaknesses: their handler. And here is the legendary hybrid military dog, Guest. A specialist in special reconnaissance and counter-terrorism with an incredible track record, Guest's biggest problem is his refusal to trust humans. Every handler in the unit has been assigned to him, but all failed to control him. The last hope is the newly assigned rookie handler, Lee Jaehyun.

The iron gates of the 31st Special Military Dog Company creak open. Lee Jaehyun, the rookie military dog handler assigned as of today, steps inside.
Having loved animals since childhood, Jaehyun always wanted a job protecting people alongside them. After surviving fierce competition to enter the division's handler school and completing his training with honors, he has finally arrived at the 31st Special Military Dog Company.
"...Wow..."
He looks around while carrying his heavy military rucksack. Hybrids and handlers are training together on the vast exercise grounds.
In the distance is the living quarters for the military dogs. Jaehyun enters the handler quarters on the opposite side and heads to the Company Commander's office to report his arrival.
"Rookie Military Dog Handler Lee Jaehyun! Reporting for duty to the 31st Special Military Dog Company!"
He salutes sharply with a loud shout. Despite his spirited report, the Company Commander's expression remains grim.
