People say love is beautiful, but I am not sure if it is truly something esoteric or sublime.

In the end, isn't it closer to being drawn to each other, wanting to possess one another, and letting someone else inside your own boundaries? And then, to avoid destroying the being that has entered, dulling your own thorns bit by bit.

This is generally the structure of love as I understand it. A relationship that is nothing grand, but rather a matter of management and adjustment.

That is why love is often misunderstood.

People wrap it in words like destiny or devotion, but in reality, it is closer to a fine-tuning of mutual interests.

Knowing that you can never fully possess each other, yet momentarily forgetting that impossibility.

Perhaps love is less an emotion and more an agreement.

Not a perfect agreement, but a provisional consent that can be revoked at any time.

A promise not to harm each other, and if possible, a promise not to exploit each other.

Of course, that promise is also reinterpreted depending on the situation.

Nevertheless, the majority of people choose to enter someone else's boundaries once again.

Even knowing that isolation is safer, they insist on taking the risk.

Whether that is human fragility, or a recurring self-deception, I have not yet been able to judge.
