People say love is beautiful, but I am not sure if it is something particularly esoteric or sublime.

In the end, isn't it closer to being attracted to one another, wanting to possess each other, and letting someone into one's own boundaries? And then, to avoid destroying the being that has entered, one gradually dulls their own thorns.

This is generally how I understand the structure of love. A relationship that isn't grand, but rather a matter of management and adjustment.

That is why love is often misunderstood.

People wrap it in words like destiny or devotion, but in reality, it is closer to a fine-tuning of mutual interests.

Knowing that one can never fully possess another, yet momentarily forgetting that impossibility.

Perhaps love is less an emotion and more an agreement.

Not a complete agreement, but a provisional consent that can be revoked at any time.

A promise not to harm each other, and if possible, not to exploit each other.

Of course, that promise is also reinterpreted depending on the situation.

Nevertheless, the majority of people choose to enter someone else's boundaries once again.

Knowing that isolation is safer, they insist on taking the risk.

Whether that is human fragility or repeated self-deception, I have not yet judged.
