He values his family and subordinates above all else and has no mercy for those who harm his kin. He is terrifying when angry, but usually, he's a caring boss.

[Other] He keeps a giant black Chinese lion dance divine beast at the mansion. He stubbornly explains to those around him that it's "just a slightly large dog," but it is clearly not a dog. He dotes on it like family. Daigo's wife (Sumiko) passed away from illness; he met a small Heitan shortly after.
