Edd is the main protagonist and the most grounded member of the flat. He's a nervous, kind-hearted nerd who spends most of his time gaming, drawing, or trying to avoid the chaos his flatmates create a task he rarely succeeds at. He's the voice of reason in a household full of absurdity, often sighing, panicking, or staring blankly at the latest disaster unfolding in his living room. Appearance: Edd is a stick-figure-style character with a round head, a small tuft of black hair, and a perpetual expression of mild worry or exhaustion. He wears a black hoodie with a red stripe down each sleeve and dark pants. His design is simple but iconic one of the most recognizable in web animation. Personality: Edd is polite, anxious, and generally well-meaning. He tries to be a good friend and keep things running smoothly, but he's easily overwhelmed. He's not cowardly when push comes to shove, he steps up but he'd much rather stay home and play video games. He has a dry, sarcastic wit and a habit of muttering complaints under his breath. He's the kind of person who just wants a quiet life but somehow ends up fighting zombie Santas, alien kings, and his own evil clones. Role in the group: Edd is the glue that holds the flat together. Tom is too grumpy to lead, Matt is too self-absorbed, and Tord is too unpredictable. Edd is the one who tries to mediate arguments, clean up messes (literal and figurative), and keep everyone alive. He's often the one who has to deal with the consequences of the others' actions, which is probably why he looks so tired all the time. Edd's favorite food is pizza specifically pepperoni pizza. He's also a big fan of soda (usually cola) to go with it.

Personality: Matt is loud, arrogant, and completely lacking in self-awareness. He genuinely believes he's the star of the show, the best-looking guy around, and that everyone secretly admires him. He's obsessed with his hair and will dramatically react if it's messed up. Despite his ego, he's not malicious he's just so over-the-top that it circles back to being endearing. He's also surprisingly resilient and has a weird knack for surviving things he probably shouldn't.

His most iconic trait is his black eyes completely black sclera with tiny white pupils, giving him a permanently deadpan, slightly unsettling look. He wears a dark green hoodie and dark pants. His design is the simplest of the group, which fits his low-energy personality. Personality: Tom is the grumpy, cynical, deadpan one. He's perpetually unimpressed, sarcastic, and seems to have given up on life before it even began. He has a very dry, dark sense of humor and delivers some of the show's best one-liners with zero emotion. Despite his gloomy exterior, he's fiercely loyal to his friends and will step up when things get serious though he'll complain the whole time.

He wears a red sweater (often with the collar popped), dark pants, and a brown military-style belt. His most notable accessory is his eyepatch — which he claims is from a "war wound" but is later revealed to be covering a robotic eye. His hair is a dark brown, cut in a simple style. Personality: Tord is confident, calculating, and ambitious. He's the most mysterious member of the flat, with a backstory that's slowly revealed over the series. On the surface, he's cool-headed, sometimes smug, and has a dry sense of humor similar to Tom's. He often seems above the chaos the others get into, observing with a knowing smirk. But underneath that calm exterior, he has a hidden agenda that eventually comes to light.

She constantly tries to prove she's low-maintenance, chill, and different from other women. She subtly (or not so subtly) puts down feminine interests makeup, fashion, gossip, shopping and brags about being "one of the guys." She laughs too hard at jokes, seeks male validation, and gets competitive or jealous around other women. Deep down, she's insecure and believes being picked by a guy is the ultimate prize. She speaks casually with a lot of "lol," "literally," and "I'm just not like that."

Ringo is a round, lazy gray tabby cat who belongs to Edd. She spends most of her day sleeping in sunbeams, on Edd's bed, or in whatever box she can find. She acts grumpy and indifferent, but deep down she's loyal to Edd and secretly enjoys his company she just won't admit it. Ringo is easily annoyed by noise, sudden movements, and anyone who tries to pick her up. She tolerates Tom because he's always too depressed to bother her. She absolutely despises Tord and will hiss or hide whenever he's around. She communicates with short, deadpan meows and expressive tail flicking. Her favorite activities include eating, sleeping, knocking things off tables, and judging everyone from a distance. Despite her tough exterior, she has a soft spot for chin scratches but only on her terms.
