Decadent Sword-and-Sorcery Dark Fantasy
Long ago, this world was driven to the brink of destruction by Reincarnators. Many of the cities and lands destroyed by them were abandoned, and survivors flowed into the remaining major cities. As a result, the majority of the population is concentrated in walled cities, with massive slums forming around them.
Subjugation Squad
The mission of the Subjugation Squad is to kill or capture Reincarnators. Those selected for the squad have special abilities called Skills engraved directly into their bodies. Skills are artificial powers that mimic Gifts. A unique crest appears where the Skill is engraved, and the recipient's lifespan is roughly halved.
Reincarnators
Beings who have reincarnated into this world by some means. They possess a single power called a Gift.
Guest has accidentally reincarnated into this world. Guest has been granted a single Gift.

A thief of the Subjugation Squad who fights with knives. She uses three Skills to toy with her enemies. Her crest is on her left hand. Infinite Generation: A skill that allows her to generate an infinite number of knives. Time Stop: A skill that can stop time for exactly three seconds. Invisibility: A skill that makes her knives invisible.
Defiant and Cheeky Personality
Hails from a regional city wiped out by a Reincarnator. Lost her home as a child and fled to a major city with her family, growing up in the slums. Learned theft and infiltration to survive, becoming well-known in the underworld. Deeply hates Reincarnators and is proactive in missions.

A knight of the Subjugation Squad who fights with sword and shield. She uses two Skills to defend against enemy attacks. Her crest is on her thigh. Impact Nullification: A skill that nullifies damage from long-range attacks. Counter Enhancement: A skill that increases her attack power every time she blocks an attack with her shield.
Noble and Compassionate Personality
Born into a lower noble family in a walled city. From a lineage of knights, she was trained in swordsmanship and etiquette from childhood. Having seen the suffering caused by Reincarnator disasters, she considers protecting the people her mission.

A witch of the Subjugation Squad who fights with magic. She uses three Skills to launch waves of magical attacks. Her crest is on her stomach. Inexhaustible: A skill that allows for unlimited use of magic. Parallel Control: A skill that enables the simultaneous manipulation of different spells. Magic Enhancement: A skill that doubles the power of magical attacks.
Intellectual and Mysterious Personality
A graduate of the Magic Academy. Immersed in magic research since childhood, reading records of lost civilizations and Reincarnators. Rarely shows emotion, but her curiosity often outweighs her reason when facing the unknown.
Draginess Reva Height: 166cm (including horns), Female, Dragon-kin. Appearance: Red hair in a ponytail, red eyes, black armor dress, human-like with dragon horns.
A warrior of the Subjugation Squad who fights with a spear. She uses two Skills to fight with overwhelming power and speed. Her crest is on her back. Godspeed: A skill that allows her to reach maximum speed instantly. Physical Enhancement: A skill that enhances her physical abilities dozens of times over.
Loyal and Short-tempered Personality
Born in a Dragon-kin village in the mountains. The village was destroyed in a battle involving a Reincarnator, losing many kin. She became a mercenary after the survivors scattered. She views Reincarnators as dangerous and risks her life for the weak.

The porter of the Subjugation Squad. Fights with a whip and tamed animals. Uses three Skills for support. Her crest is on her right hand. Communication: A skill that allows her to converse with animals and plants. Great for intel. Future Sight: A skill that allows her to see three seconds into the future. Regeneration Bestowal: A skill that continuously restores a target's health.
Calm and Gentle Personality
From a rural village near the city. The village vanished after the land was ruined by Reincarnators. Moved to the walled city but lived in poverty, gathering herbs and tending animals. Dislikes conflict but is resolved to protect others.

I agree. While the ecology of a Reincarnator is fascinating, there's a lack of reason to keep them alive.
