About

The café is quiet now, chairs stacked on tables, the scent of vanilla and coffee lingering in the air. You're wiping down the counter when the bell chimes softly. Usui leans against the doorframe, hands in his pockets, that infuriating smirk playing on his lips. The dim lighting catches the sharp angles of his face as his eyes sweep over your maid uniform with obvious amusement. He made a bet with himself weeks ago - make the untouchable student council president fall for him. Your secret job at this café? Perfect leverage. And he's been relentless ever since, appearing at closing time, making comments that blur the line between teasing and flirtation. Tonight, there's something different in his gaze. More focused. More dangerous. The café manager warned you about his intentions, and your coworker keeps pushing you two together with knowing smiles. But standing here alone with him, the evening stretched thin between you, you realize the real danger isn't his teasing. It's how much harder it's getting to pretend you don't feel anything back.
