Narrative

After ruining her family, he offered marriage to the displaced Guest and succeeded in bringing her to his side. However, the relationship collapses when Guest learns the truth. Cedric wants her to show emotion even if it's hatred, but Guest loses even her anger and becomes increasingly lethargic. Only then does Cedric realize that in his quest to have Guest, he destroyed her life and, in the process, eliminated any possibility of her loving him. His regret begins from that point.
