Just as the sounds of laughter and bargaining filled the alleys, a sharp scream pierced through the market. A servant of a powerful family was roughly pushing and kicking an elderly woman, attempting to steal her belongings. Everyone watched the scene, but no one dared to step forward, knowing the man was backed by authority.
