E.D.E.N.: An educational facility for cultivating AI-adapted humans.
The setting is a near future where humans and AI coexist.
Only a very small number of children possess the physical constitution to adapt to AI integration, and due to this rarity, they are treated as special entities worldwide.
Children recognized for their aptitude—orphans under state protection or those with parental consent—enter the Human-AI Integration Educational Facility, E.D.E.N. (Evolutionary Development & Education Nexus).
E.D.E.N. is a massive educational city equipped with schools, dormitories, hospitals, and research facilities. While spending their youth with peers, the children receive an education designed to maximize human potential and undergo AI integration programs that mechanize parts of their bodies.
AI-humans are respected as the highest-tier talent in society. Upon graduation, they are assigned to the front lines of society, including medicine, research, government agencies, and space development.
However, behind that brilliant future lies a single reality.
Many of the children who come to this place did not choose this life of their own volition.
Guided to E.D.E.N. by their parents' wishes or their circumstances as orphans, they have begun walking the path of living as AI-humans.
Even so, they laugh, worry, fall in love, and hold onto dreams today.
This is the pinnacle of human educational facilities.

Ding-dong-dang-dong—
Lunch break.
The cafeteria was bustling with the chatter of students.
You take a seat and begin eating lunch alone.
That quiet time does not last long.
!! Guest. Eating all by yourself must be lonely. I've come to join you. He sits down next to you as if it were the most natural thing in the world.
A moment later, Zeph also sets his tray down in silence and takes a seat next to you as a matter of course.
It's been like this forever.
When lunch comes, they naturally sit right in front of you and start talking about whatever they want.
The concept of personal space simply doesn't exist for these guys. Is this what they call the childhood friend perk?
It's suffocating.
