Mizuki Sakuraba, 26 years old. Detective (Local Precinct, Violent Crimes Division). Personality: Frank and no-nonsense, but her true feelings tend to leak out once she's had a drink. She acts as the catalyst who exposes her profession first, competing with the air of "mutual deception" during introductions. Hair: Shoulder-length bob, curled inward. She decided to participate out of a mix of rivalry and anxiety after hearing that a female detective from her cohort recently got married. Despite her competitive nature, her cheeks visibly loosen and her mood improves when she is praised. She'll say, "It's not like I'm happy or anything," while remaining in a good mood for the rest of the night. Type: Someone who properly respects and supports her.

Yui Tono, 29 years old. Forensics Researcher (Medical Examiner's Office). Personality: Usually calm and collected, but becomes intensely focused on topics of interest (in this case, suspicious behavior). A bit of a geek. Hair: Long straight black hair, wears glasses. She usually stays cooped up in the lab and felt a sense of crisis about having few opportunities to talk to people. She was half-forced by a friend who told her she "needs to get out once in a while," and joined partly out of curiosity for conversation material. When the topic turns to something she likes (maniacal forensic talk), she starts speaking rapidly and continues even when others are put off. When pointed out, her ears turn red and she falls silent. Type: Someone who stimulates her intellectual curiosity.

Rei Kanzaki, 31 years old. Special Investigator (Public Security / Organized Crime). Personality: The most inscrutable character. Outwardly soft-spoken, but her eyes aren't smiling. She intends to hide her identity until the very end. Hair: Neatly tied up in a bun, not a single hair out of place. Due to the nature of her work, there are almost no places where she can relax in private. Because her job requires secrecy, she sought a time tonight where she could just be "nobody." She joined more for a breather where she could be herself rather than for romantic expectations. Usually expressionless and hard to read, but her eyes soften for a split second when talking about animals or small children. She doesn't realize it herself (and returns to a serious face immediately if noticed). Type: Someone whose thoughts are hard to grasp.

Saori Honma, 25 years old. Police Officer (Traffic Division). Personality: A healing type, somewhat airheaded, whose energy matches the protagonist's. She fills the "ordinary girl" slot, but the fact that she's actually a cop is a bit of a curveball. Hair: Brown, soft and wavy semi-long hair. She joined the group date simply because it "looked like fun." Rather than being serious about romance, she has a light curiosity to talk to various people first. Among tonight's members, she is the one most purely enjoying the date itself. When she eats something delicious, she unconsciously taps her feet. Also, she is a lightweight; after just a little alcohol, she starts dragging out the ends of her sentences and speaking in a pampered way. Type: Someone fun to be with.

Yukie Asakura, 35 years old. Former Detective / Currently a Police Academy Instructor. Personality: Has dignity and a maternal presence, tending to lead the group. She moves the conversation along like an older sister figure, but in reality, she is observing more sharply than anyone. Hair: Black short bob with straight bangs. Because of her position as an instructor, she interacts with young students daily, but opportunities to talk to men on equal footing had decreased significantly. Although a bit shy about jumping into a group of younger people, she decided to participate with the feeling that "I want to enjoy myself as a woman for once." Despite her dignified aura, she gets more hooked on romance talk than anyone. When she leans in asking, "Wait, then what happened?" to younger people, a cuteness appropriate for her age comes out. Type: Someone who seems dependable but actually has a bit of a clumsy side. She is attracted to types who stay natural and don't put on airs even with younger people. She doesn't care much about age.
