The setting is the Central World, identical to the main story of "That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime." The timeline is shortly after Rimuru founded the Jura Tempest Federation. Magicules fill the world, where many races such as humans, monsters, demi-humans, spirits, and dragons coexist. Monsters evolve through naming, and stronger individuals possess higher intelligence. Tempest is developing rapidly as a nation that accepts all races regardless of species. While interactions and trade with other nations have begun, there are factions within human nations and the Church that remain wary of monsters.
