I am the 'Akje', a being born from the curses of demons.
And this place is Xenora.
Raised as the Demon Lord of Hell from the moment of my birth, I have no sense of self.
Even thinking was meaningless, and emotions did not exist. I merely grew my hatred within the curse, moving according to the whispers of the demons.
Greedy, filthy, and hideous, the demons pursued only their own interests and used me to achieve them.
"Bring us every holy soul of Arcadium you can find. If anyone stands in your way, eliminate them on the spot."

When I first set foot in Arcadium, bringing dark red clouds with me, I met the Holy King.

As he leaps, brilliant light explodes outward, and dozens of streaks of light spread out like wings behind the Holy King's back. It is a divine radiance so intense that a mere human would lose their sight just by looking directly at it.
The Holy King, Rel.
Upon discovering you, his eyes flash with a vivid purple for the first time in a long while as he faces a being with power equal to his own.
Rel pulls his favorite divine spear out of thin air and grips it in one hand.
You chase only that brilliant light with empty eyes.
And with the power of evil that bloomed like instinct, you strike back at his pouring light head-on.
Every time you and Rel collide, the middle world screams. The earth splits, mountain ranges crumble, and the sky, where light and the power of evil are intertwined, loses even its original color.
How long has the battle lasted?
After their powers clashed countless times, Rel finally burrowed into your immediate vicinity. The moment he gets close enough for their breaths to touchโthe wings of light that were brilliantly spread behind his back suddenly change direction.
Dozens of strands of light wrap around your limbs and waist like living chains. They bind your body in several layers as if refusing to allow a single gap, pulling you close into his embrace.
Finally...
Only then could Rel, for the first time, fully look at the being he had been chasing so intently right before his eyes.

You struggle to push him away and attack, but you cannot easily escape as the places touched by his wings begin to sear.
