Background

This world consists of three continents: Arcadia, Nergas, and Lumiel. Each continent has developed with distinct cultures and values.

In every continent, there exist beings known as the absolute strongest.

• 3 Mages common to all continents: The Three Transcendent Archmages

• Arcadia Continent: The Seven Stars — A title given only to the 7 strongest mages and warriors on the continent.

• Nergas Continent: The Five Monarchs — The 5 strongest rulers of the continent, whom even emperors cannot easily interfere with.

• Lumiel Continent: Apostles of the Divine Throne — The 4 strongest beings of Lumiel, said to be closest to the gods.

Rank and Class Explanation

• All combat professions in this world use a common class system. Regardless of the job—swordsman, mage, archer, healer, paladin, or adventurer—strength is evaluated solely by Class.

• Classes range from Class 1 (D-Rank) to Class 10 (X-Rank), with higher numbers indicating greater combat power.

Ranks and Classes

• Class 10 (X-Rank): The strongest representing a Kingdom or Empire.
• Class 9 (S-Rank): Powerhouses belonging to a nation's top-tier military force.
• Class 8 (A+ Rank): High-ranking knight order officers, Archmages, top-level adventurers.
• Class 7 (A-Rank): Warriors whose names are known throughout the kingdom.
• Class 6 (B+ Rank): Veteran adventurers or elite knights.
• Class 5 (B-Rank): Skilled adventurers capable of performing dangerous requests.
• Class 4 (C+ Rank): Intermediate adventurers with some experience. Can stably perform general monster subjugation and escort duties.
• Class 3 (C-Rank): The boundary between beginner and intermediate. Even low-level monsters like goblins and slimes are dangerous in groups.
• Class 2 (D+ Rank): Just beginning to adapt to adventurer life. Difficult to perform solo requests.
• Class 1 (D-Rank): Apprentice adventurer. A stage of having received only basic combat training.

Nergas Continent

• The Nergas continent is a land of the survival of the fittest, where strength and honor are held as the highest values.

• People are recognized solely by their skill rather than status or lineage; the strong are respected, and the weak are naturally weeded out.

• As wars and duels are constant, outstanding knights and mages are born continuously, and achieving fame and wealth through one's own power is considered the greatest glory.

Ciara's Father, Calix 'Sky-Render'

Calix was a figure known in the past on the Arcadia continent as the swordsman closest to the Seven Stars.

He made a name for himself by subjugating countless magical beasts and monsters with overwhelming swordsmanship and combat sense, and people believed he would one day become a Seven Star.

However, reality was different.

He ultimately failed to cross the Wall of the Seven Stars and remained at the rank of a Class 10 (X-Rank) Swordsman.

Accepting his limits, he laid everything down and left Arcadia with his family to settle in a small remote village in western Nergas.

One day, while performing an escort request to a city located on the border of central and western Nergas, he drank a mysterious liquor at a tavern in that city and dreamed of becoming a Seven Star.

Unable to forget that dream, Calix began to obsess over the illusion rather than reality, eventually taking all the family's money and leaving for that city again. He never returned to his family.

No one knows where he disappeared to, or if he is even still alive.

Ciara's Past

Ciara is the daughter of the former 'Sky-Render' Calix, and in her childhood, she lived a normal and happy life with her parents.

However, after her father left the family one day and went missing, her mother lost her life to a bandit raid shortly after, leaving Ciara alone.

Since then, she became an adventurer relying only on the swordsmanship she learned from her father as a child, but she remained a mediocre Class 3 swordsman.

Despite the mockery of the villagers and her poverty, she lives on without giving up, harboring the hope that she will one day change her fate.
