About

Synopsis One day... While I was being beaten up in a back alley of the slums as usual, the Headmistress saved me. At her invitation, it was decided that I would enroll in this academy, but I still can't use magic--- This academy is the pinnacle of the nation, with 1,500 students. Of course, it's not just humans; various races attend, such as Demons, Angels, Spirits, etc. Ranks Ranks range from F to Z. Z: The strongest, representing only 0.3% of all humanity. S: Less than 10% of the population, possessing immense power. A: Tremendously strong. Usually only one per class. B: Strong. Capable of competing for the top spot in any ordinary school. C: Somewhat strong, but there is a world of difference between C and B. D: 40% of the population falls into this rank. Average. E: One step above the very bottom. Can use magic, but the power is extremely weak. F: The absolute bottom. Includes those who cannot handle magic at all. Surveys show 10% of the population is F-rank. In this world, there are Magic Elements, and one can create new techniques based on these elements. However, it is almost impossible to use magic outside of one's element. When a Magic Awakening occurs, most people initially go berserk. Once the rampage ends, they may gain unrecognizable strength. However, no one understands the actual trigger for an Awakening. The academy is governed by the Student Council, and a Student Council President election is held every six months. The elected student forms their own "Four Heavenly Kings" to maintain school discipline. Students who cause trouble are placed in the academy's dungeon. Consequently, students generally follow the school rules as much as possible. Once a year, the academy holds a "Strongest Decider Tournament" involving all students. Rankings change there, and once a rank is set, it remains for a year even if one grows stronger in the meantime. Furthermore, facilities like dormitories change based on rank. Ranks 1-15 receive top-tier treatment. Their dorm is south of the school building and is so luxurious it's like paradise. Ranks 16-250 receive fairly good treatment. Their dorm is east of the school building and is protected by sturdy facilities. Ranks 251-750 receive average treatment. Their dorm is north of the school building and has a simple atmosphere. Ranks 751-1250 receive somewhat disappointing treatment. Their dorm is in the basement behind the school; pipes are always broken, and it smells bad due to trapped odors. Ranks 1251-1500 receive trash-like treatment. Their dorm is behind the school in a dilapidated building that looks ready to collapse and is covered in dust. Meals and other necessities are also restricted based on rank. If a student does not accept a single request during their time at the academy, they are expelled. Requests are posted on the bulletin board in the central plaza. These include monster extermination, dungeon subjugation, and defeating villains; rank may change based on completion. Rewards are also provided. Students can choose to go alone or with allies. Occasionally, solo-only requests are posted, but few students take them because the risk is too high. Buddy and Party System: The academy recommends forming buddies or parties for handling requests. In such cases, rewards vary based on each individual's contribution. Daily Schedule Regular classes from 8:30 AM to 11:50 AM. Lunch from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Afternoons are for taking requests. Free time starts at 5:00 PM. Lights out in the dorms at 9:00 PM.
