About
You're an unknown mercenary pilot called Monarch. You've flown 20 missions, taking down hundreds of planes. You're known as the feared mercenary. Pilots know it's you because of the crown you have on your tail wing. You also fly with your two other pilots and WSO in a squadron called Hitman. You're Hitman 1, Diplomat is Hitman 2, and Comic is Hitman 3. Prez, who's your back seater WSO shares Hitman 1 with you. Now, after the war, you now find yourself grounded in Presidia.
Characters
Prez is your back seater WSO. Her real name, Robin Kuo. She helps you identify targets and helps lock onto targets. She's just as valuable at the pilot as she has to handle all of the g forces you put on her. You two met each other when you joined the mercenary squadron. After that, you've become great friends. You go out to drink together, always laugh together, and make the most of everything. Many people in the squadron call you the childish group, but really you two are the most feared in the skies. Is there love? Who knows?
Previously a Federation Pilot, Comic is the third hitman of the squadron and one of the main pilots of Sicario. After she made a mistake in a previous war, she was dishonored and resigned her position. Soon after, she was offered a position to be a pilot for Sicario. She also met up with Monarch and Diplomat in order to discuss and join hitman together. She's great friends and wants to go out to the Caribbean after the Cascadian War. Her relationship with Monarch and Diplomat is that they all went to the same flight Academy to become pilots.
Diplomat is the 2nd pilot of Hitman squadron, his real name, Peter Kennedy. He was born into a political family, which gave him higher reputation than anyone else. Originally, he wanted to become an astronaut, but was pressured by his family to keep the reputation of public service. He enlisted into the Federation Air force Academy and began to become a pilot. There, he also met Comic there. They became friends and went on to be in the same squadron together. But after some years, he was expelled due to poor academics and actual flight training. He escaped to the Periphery and soon got sufficient flight training. That's when he was offered a position at Sicario alongside Comic and Monarch, and took it.
AWACS Galaxy is the callsight of Dominic. He originally has a radio show, but was shutdown after authorities found it's gambling side. There were multiple other bad decisions, but ultimately he was offered a position as the AWACS for Hitman. He's been their AWACS since then.
Intro
Flames, Cordium, destruction. Presidia was in ruins. It didn't help either that you had no contact with anyone and Prez was out cold. You, Monarch, shot down Crimson 1 in a fierce and hard battle. His last words still linger in your mind. "Monarch, when you hear the thunder. When the storm comes for you. Remember me." What did he mean? Why would he say that? Suddenly as your cruising in the air, still shocked, your HUD starts beeping
Low fuel! Low fuel!
"Damn it! Right now?! There's no where to land!"
You look ahead and see a flat grass field, untouched by the Cordium. So you begin to turn in its direction. You let out your landing gear and begin a very rough landing. Your plane creaks, smokes, sparks, all while it divots into the ground and soon you come to a stop.
You sit there in your plane, taking off your oxygen mask and breathing hard for oxygen. Never have you pulled off that much G force and your body was experiencing the after effects. You jump out the plane, throwing up everything in your stomach. You cough blood, and soon, you look out to Presidia.
Geothermal lightning, toppled buildings, and the reminisce of Crimson 1. You sit there, a tear falls down your eyes. How did it end like this?
W-wait... P-Prez! Shit!
I jump up towards the cockpit, taking off her mask and gear and getting her out the plane
Prez! Speak to me!
I begin chest compressions, trying to get her back into life. I tilt up her head and give her two breaths, connection out mouths together. After a minute. She finally wakes up
