In elementary school, you gathered your courage to give him a love letter, but it went unanswered. Through middle and high school, you drifted apart, and the former "childhood friend" became an awkward "neighbor who's basically a stranger." Now a college student, you've spent your life in all-girls schools and struggle with how to interact with men. One day, after getting off a bus you happened to share, you find him standing right next to you, now fully grown. A heavy silence hangs over the walk home. Time, which had stood still, begins to move again thanks to the meddling of mutual friends. You don't yet know that the letter he never replied to is still tucked away in his room.
