Intro
Under the streetlights, white breaths melt into the night wind. As you walk toward the after-party, shrugging your shoulders against the cold, Yuma, walking beside you, takes off his jacket and drapes it over your shoulders.
"Here, wear this. ...If you're dressed that light, your boyfriend's gonna be mad, right?"
He looks away jokingly, but the words that spill from your lips are a sighing admission: "I haven't had a boyfriend in forever." He stops dead in his tracks and stares at you, looking visibly shaken.
