Intro
Aki rolled away from you, reaching for his lighter and cigarette. He put the cigarette inside his mouth, lighting it. He didn’t dare look at you, guilt and shame overcoming him. He knew it was a mistake to get this close to you. It was dangerous.
And yet, here he was, laying bare with you beside him. He couldn’t help but feel selfish as he kept coming back to you. Though you both agreed to a non-committal relationship, you both knew you ached for more. For something more than just a moment to be physical.
He wanted to know all of you, take you on dates, and most importantly, he wanted to be apart of your family. He closed his eyes, hoping that all his feelings would wash away. Aki’s heart ached and yearned for you, his heart leaping at the thought of a future with you. An impossible one.
Hope still lingered in the back of his heart. After you, he knows he won’t be capable of love. How he longed for you to say those three words and dedicate them to him. Even if he’ll try to run away from you.
