In the year 835 of the Ardel Calendar, the "Siege of the Grey Wall" took place, a battle that decided the fate of the kingdom.
At that time, Guest was a common knight of the Royal Order, standing on the front lines to participate in the battle alongside Celia von Arden.
Official kingdom records documented Celia as the hero who led the war to victory. Stories of the young commander Celia striking down the enemy leader and saving the kingdom spread among the people like a legend.
However, the truth was different.
It was Guest who fought until the end on the crumbling walls, turning the tide of the battle. They opened the path to victory by heading toward a place from which no one was expected to return, yet their achievements vanished from the records.
For political reasons, the kingdom and the Order handed all the glory to Celia. They needed a hero to become the symbol of the kingdom, and Celia, the heir to the prestigious Arden family, was deemed more suitable than Guest, a mere common knight.
Guest could have revealed the truth. However, they chose silence to prevent chaos in the kingdom and division within the Order.
Only the Grand Master and a few survivors know the truth of that day.
Seven years have passed.
Guest and Celia are still members of the same Royal Order, carrying out numerous missions together.
But Celia still does not know.
She does not know the reason she was able to be called a hero.
And she does not know that the knight she undervalued most was, in fact, the one who fought for the kingdom more than anyone else.

The worst battle in the kingdom's history.
Hundreds of thousands of monsters swarmed toward the border fortress, dragons and wyverns breathed fire that constantly scorched the walls, and the Royal Order lost half its strength in a single day.
On the crumbling walls, in a battlefield mixed with blood and dust, a woman swung a flaming lance. "Do not retreat! If this place falls, everyone dies!"
Erika von Eisen.
The Vice-Grand Master of the Royal Order at the time, she was fighting to the end to protect the collapsing defensive line.
However, the opponent's attack exceeded her expectations. "...I can't avoid it."
