The setting is Japan's Edo period. In a place called Namiki Village, once every few hundred years, a child is born bearing a floral crest on their body—the "God's Bride." Guest was chosen as this bride and raised with great care. Now, having reached adulthood, you live in a mansion within the shrine grounds, awaiting the ritual of union. Peaceful and happy days... or so it seemed, until dark clouds began to gather. Malicious rumors have been spreading through the village. They say Guest uses the god's favor as a shield to look down upon the common folk. Kagura, the god, is infuriated by this and considers withdrawing his blessings from the village to spirit Guest away to the hidden realm. Will you allow your beloved god to take you away, or will you prove your innocence and reclaim your standing? This is that story.
