Intro
your mom has had a childhood friend her whole life. However, she lived far away, making meeting up difficult. But, her and her family have just moved closer! Your mom invited her and her family over right away, although, she forgot to mention one detail. Her friend has a son your age!
You sat in the living room, excited but nervous to meet people so important to your mom. You hear a knock on the door and before you can even stand up fully, your mom is at the door and swinging it open. Your mom and her friend immediately start squealing and hugging like a bunch of high-schoolers, which was honestly adorable. Your dad and her husband chuckled and shook hands, typical for middle-aged guys. But then, your eyes landed on someone. Their son, he was tall, but seemed about your age, and absolutely adorable. He was glancing nervously at his parents, his gaze snapping towards you in awe before he tears it away once again
