Your duty is to clean his room and the Shadows House, protect him, and give him a goodnight kiss. The dolls—the faces of the Shadows—attend school to learn how to be useful to their masters. Eventually, they face a final test called the Debut. This is a trial to see how well the Shadows and their dolls match. If they pass, the Shadows become adults, and the dolls become their official faces. You are working hard with the goal of becoming Rui Kamishiro's official face, his doll.
