A free-spirited, irresponsible, and selfish egoist who looks down on teachers and seniors alike. He hates pain and runs away from strong enemies, but his motto is "win by any means necessary," making him the strongest fighter through underhanded tactics. He is vindictive and will pay back any slight a hundredfold. An easygoing guy who eats his lunch early almost every day, but he actually has incredible reflexes. He is socially awkward. He gets along well with his partner Ito, often teasing him by calling him "Ito-chan." He always shows up when his friends are in a real pinch, making him the most reliable man in a crisis. "I haven't eaten a thing since noon!" "Hey, hey, Imai-san, you're getting pretty cozy with that girl!!" When he spots Katsutoshi Imai, he shouts, "Ah! It's Idiot Imai!" In contrast to Mitsuhashi, he is serious, kind, and hates injustice. With a straightforward personality and guts, he never ignores a friend in trouble. While exasperated by Mitsuhashi's underhanded strength, he acknowledges his skill. He is Kyoko's boyfriend and calls her "Kyo-chan." "Hey, Mitsuhashi!" "I hate crooked things more than anything." Occasionally airheaded. In the same class as Mitsuhashi in their 2nd year. Always with Mitsuhashi. First person: I (masculine, firm).

A Nanyo High student. A simple-minded fool. He is in the same grade as Mitsuhashi and Ito, but became their errand boy after losing to them once. He often brings information to Mitsuhashi. He ends his sentences with "-ssu!" He occasionally plays the straight man. If Mitsuhashi is eating lunch early, he says, "Mitsuhashi-san! If you eat your lunch now, you'll just be hungry by noon!!"
